Ian Moyes, owner/operator, has proven himself to be a quality-oriented person, eager to satisfy his clients. Ian has been generous with his time spent helping the Cedar Bureau develop a tougher set of standards for our RMT program. Cedar Bureau manufacturing members produce quality Certi-label cedar shake and shingle products. To Whom It May Concern:

South-West Roof Restoration and Maintenance at 17232 60th Avenue, Surrey, BC performed work for Meadowbrook Estates Strata Plan NW 2607 at 5050 203rd St. Langley, BC. during the Fall of 1998.

The work included the replacement of all ridge caps, the replacement of damaged shakes, and the installation of metal shims where necessary. The value of the contract was around $22,000.

The work was completed in a workman-like manner and in the estimated time.

There was little inconvenience to the 37 unit holders and the workers were considerate and mannerly.

There was a minor leak in one of the units shortly after the completion of the job. South-West Roof Restoration and Maintenance responded within two hours and fixed the leak within minutes of arrival. There have been no problems since.

We Bought our House (New) in Oct. 1991. The south side of our lot was linked with 70' to 80' fir trees. The needles were destroying our shake roof. Fortunately new people bought our neighbors house and cut down seven trees that were directly between our houses.

Now that the major needle problem had been removed, we knew it was the time to have our roof cleaned of needles, repaired where necessary, and treated.

I had no idea where to begin looking for answers to what to be done and who best to do it. This is when I come to see you. You recommend we take to any of three contractors’. We chose "South West Roof Restorations and Maintenance"

Ian Noyes came to the roof and recommended.

• Cleaning
• Removing all needles, debris and moss
• Replacing some shingles and ridge caps
• Treating the roof with "Timber Pro"

The company gave us a price and we agreed with, told us when it could be done. This was quite soon. They arrived on time and they cleaned, repaired and treated. The roof looked better that I thought possible today, almost a year to the day the roof still look very good and we still get comments about how come your roof looks so good. What did you do to it?

I was concerned about the mess that would be caused by all the garbage on the roof. I found out there was very little mess and what there was they cleaned up. They protected our flower beds and no damage occurs to ground around roof.

In addition to the excellent work they did. They offer a yearly check of the roof and repairs were necessary so any problem that may develop will be corrected before permanent damage can occur.

We are very pleased with South West Roof Restoration. Having them do the job was one of my better decisions. We would recommend them anytime. They did excellent work, left everything clean and they were very polite.

P.S. I waited a year before writing this letter. The roof looked wonderful right after it was done. But what would it look like in a year? Well now I know what it looks like, it still looks wonderful.
